A few tidbits of news have come out from Microsoft prior to E3 starting tomorrow. First off Kotaku has revealed that Project Natal will now be called Kinect.
There's no need for conjecture; Microsoft's upcoming motion control peripheral, once known as Project Natal, is now to be officially known as "Kinect"
Also there has been a leaked ad for a new Xbox 360. Italian ads for a new "slim" 360 have surfaced. The new console will be Kinect ready allegedly. This from Joystiq.

EA Sports will reboot its NBA Live series of basketball games this autumn with new physics and control systems, as well as a new name: NBA Elite. NBA Elite 11, due for release in October on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, will follow last year's NBA Live 10.

Could streaming tv and videos on the Xbox be a surprise announcement at E3 this year? According to sources at Kotaku it will.
According to "a very reliable source", gadget site Gear Live is reporting that Microsoft is set to unveil a nice little surprise during its E3 press conference: the addition of TV streaming service Hulu to Xbox Live.
Requiring a separate subscription fee - just like Netflix - Hulu would let Xbox 360 users watch (most of) their favourite TV shows whenever they wanted. Only, instead of watching it on a monitor, they could kick back and watch it on their actual TV sets.

The swag just gets better and better with every new special edition game. Personally I haven't ever splurged on a special edition but that doesn't mean they aren't cool.
