Splinter Cell: Essentials

1UP.com is reporting that Sam Fisher's origins will be told as part of the PSP title Splinter Cell: Essentials.

Wouldn’t' it be nice to see interoperability between the PSP and Xbox360 Splinter Cell titles? Wishful thinking... Maybe I should just keep my fingers crossed and hope for a decent PSP game instead... No sense in being greedy.

Sorta crummy of them to make it available only on PSP. Especially since the xbox pretty much helped launch the series.

With Double Agent due out within six months, it'll be interesting to see how well it turns out. It sounds like they're sorta bringing out it to help promote Double Agent.
