I had to make Super Bowl picks for a pool I'm in... for bonus pts to be added to the total pts earned through the weekly picks. I chose Indy & Philly. The NFC so seriously sucks that I had to go with Philly... the AFC is tough to choose from. San Diego could really do some damage.. but I chose Indy for two reasons:1) They can outscore anyone and everyone and 2) Their defense has stepped up in takeaways.

I want the Jets, but I'm a realist.

Colts will beat any NFC team that makes it....and I really haven't a clue who will so I'm not even going to guess. I'm a big fan of Favre though so I hope its the Pack.

i chose the packers because i always pull for them if they giants are not playing them,i like favre as well and green.that javon walker is awesome too and you know favre wants another superbowl victory before he retires.my best friend is a huge packers fan too so i tend to see most of their games.i figured everyone would say i was crazy for picking them but i really think they have a shot.

I am going with the Pats from the AFC and the Eagles from the NFC, with the Eagles taking it all. Yeah, it's a heart pick as well as a head pick, but we got enough negative vibes around here in Philly so I am going to try and send some positive ones.

I'm going to chime in with Colts vs. Falcons. I have a gut feeling about the Eagles not making it...Westbrook's durability, Pinkston's attitiude, and Owens's injury. I can't explain it. This is very hard for me to type because the Saints beat the Falcons a couple of weeks ago... (crying)

Pats-Falcons. Yeah, I'm being a homer by picking the Pats, but it's really hard to doubt them. 14-2 is nothing to sneeze at, and they can take Pittsburgh in round 2. In any event, if I had to pick a team other than the Pats, I'd say the Chargers. The Colts choke in the playoffs every year; this team isn't any different than last year's team, but I think the Chargers are a much more balanced team, and they could run away with everything...

:dancing: Steelers!!!! :dancing:

They have been playing so well this year. I think they will pull it off all the way, baby. ;-)

Not sure who they will play. I'm torn between Philly & Green Bay. I'm leaning more towards Philly, though. In any case, I still think(hope) that Pitt is going to finally pull of another championship this year! Woot!!

The Packers just got beat so Super Bowl 39 is cancelled. Better luck next year.

(And if you are from Minnesota I hope you get some kind of a rash.)

I don't think anyone is stopping Indy. It's going to be Indy and (I'm going out on a limb here) St. Louis as they play well when they need to. Without TO Philly is over, the Vikings are very beatable and ATL is just not a good team altogether. But if St. Louis is to lose I'll look to the Vikings as the do look good at least on offense.

To win the Superbowl? Indianapolis Colts.

As much as I would obviously love to see the Rams in the Super Bowl, I don't know if they have enough defense. Although they have been on a roll lately and they seem to be playing their best football right now. Atlanta's gonna be tough. They couldn't tackle Vick at all last time they played them and ended up getting blown out. I think the Colts will beat the Pats but will lose to Pittsburgh. I think Pittsburgh will win it all. Their defense is awesome and they pound the ball and control the clock on offense.

i'm going with the best defenses left - philadelphia vs. pittsburgh, although i'll be pleasantly surprised if indy's unstoppable offense can flourish in foxboro and pittsburgh in january.

Pittsburgh-Philly. I do think the Rams could pull it off though and get into the Super Bowl, their offense is clicking right now, which is pretty bad news for Atlanta, especially on turf!

Pittsburgh wins, 24-13.
