Hello,
my name is Unity and I'm a Kingdom Under Fire-holic.

I need some help... some serious help... to beat the game that is. Is anyone, anybody, any Lag helping soul playing this game...? :-S

I've tried to break the disc into pieces out of frustration, but my stupid mind keeps tricking me that we can do it... and so I try again, and again...

... maybe is the big-behinded female warriors that takes my unfailing focus away... or maybe is the drolling over the graphics that keeps me from wining... either way; I havent tried the online portion yet and I wonder if there's a Lagger out there who can help.

OK: I'm loving it. If you have not try it yet please at least rent it; you wont be dissapointed. The Demo does not justice to the game. It is not easy you must know! but very, very rewarding.

Is it anything like dynasty warriors, samurai warriors, crimson sea?

Hi Unity and welcome to the meeting.

I too am addicted, and trying to beat some of these levels is driving me nuts.

Without spoiling this for other potential players, how far are you in and maybe I can help.

Hey Paul,

I am barely at the Fifth Gerald Mission: Woodenshade. Today I plan to change that! It is the episode after Gerald actually fights with MR DEVIL-Reigner and we're forced to flee to the woods that is putting my neurons on welfare!! Yesterday I got my archers to set part of the woods on fire before the gazillion orcs attacked us but the fire got out of control and... well... you know the rest... REPLAY???

Today I'm feeling brain pumped so I'm committed to beat the level.

What I really want us to do is check it out online, the options is a 2 aginst 2 I believe(4 players at a time--not that bad); have you tried yet?

Live is only 1 vs 1 right now, there is talk that when the update sent out it will change it to 2 vs 2. I haven't tried it online yet, not brave enough to play a public game yet.

Lvl 5 isn't that difficult once you get the timing down - move your archers a little earlier.

Once I pass this level, we'll talk about going Live. I'm rewiring my connections as we speak. I can't wait to give it a shot online; maybe we can play together and share the initial embarassment while we learn.

I love this game; I hope more LAGGERS get it and we can start playing online.

P.S: CHORD, sorry friend, I did not play any of the games you mention above. Maybe Paul can illustrate the picture better for you. What I can tell you is I never thought I was going to like it this much.

I moved this to RPGs.

Just wanted you guys to have someone to blame if the move seemed arbitrary.

:-$ Sorry Moe, my mistake; I'll make sure I post in the right places. Thank you though...

So, are you guys done with this game months ago? Did you ever play on LIVE? How was it? Is it still any good?

It might seem old, but I'm still wondering.

I bought this game about a month ago. I only made it to about the fifth or six mission when the wonky camera, weak control, and horrible (though often amusing) voice acting got to me. Sold it back while Gamestop had their recent "Sell 3 games get an extra $10 credit" sale. The game wasn't terrible, but the bad aspects often got in the way of the fun. Such as...when one of your twenty archers in formation was a half-step out of the woods you were supposed to be hiding in...and causes you to start the entire map over again. Had I kept it I'm sure I would have played it more, but I can't say I miss it all that much.
