How many have you opened and did ya find anything good in em?
Ive opened a few and got some ok stuff. One in the darkwoods i got a suit of armor. There was another one where you had to say the doors name, that one was ok. Had a full face tatto card in it, looks really bad ass. I think those are the only two ive opened so far.

I have opened them all, some are very useful, some are only useful depending if you're good or evil, and a couple are (IMO) useless. One or two doors are associated with quest/side quests.

ive been doing ok with most, but right now im trying to figure out the one in the heros guild. Ive got a really good guy, all halo and stuff. But it still says my path is to dark. So i tried it durring the day thinking it was a lighting thing but that didnt work, i used a golden carrot and that didnt work either. Maybe i need to use my lantern, i dont know.

***SPOILER***
You should have a lantern in your inventory... "use" it right in front of the door...

I've managed to open quite a few. Let's see, got the one at the heroes guild, the one in Darkwood, the one that has you do an evil deed, the one at the Grey House, the one for the Archaeologist, the one for Lychfield Graveyard (I HATE the skeletons in this game, they seriously creep me out), and a couple others I'm not remembering right now.
My evil character has a full suit of dark plate, every evil tattoo I could find that would look good together, two big horns, red mist around his feet, flies, and intensely glowing red eyes. Oh yeah, he's got a dark path all right.

I'm totally on the path of good - just so you all will know.
All the women are in love with me. Towns hail my arrival.
Sniper on the other hand . . .

Sniper on the other hand has people fleeing from his very sight, has divorced three times, owns four houses and a shop, and is the Fable representation of satan in a business suit.
Quite a diverse game in my opinion.

sniper, im the same way. My guy is all evil, tats all go together. People run screaming at the mere sight of me. I have a shaved head, the sheriff stash and the strip beard.
I also have a good guy, halo, butterflies, everone loved me blah blah blah.
Its more fun being evil.

My guy (his name is Ab) is mostly good. Aside from the occasional barrel containing food. I did however teleport my fiance into oblivion.....its was an accident though......btw....can you buy and insurance policy in this game....
Maybe Sniper can hook me up...then again.

my guy was actually a good guy, with a sort of halo and everything, but i had a thing for tattooes so he looked pretty rough for a good guy. i pretty much went looking for trouble, so his body was pretty torn up from all the fighting, escpecially his face. he was covered in tattoos, and was mostly a master archer for most of the game (this involved alot of running backwards while firing magic arrows into to peoples faces as they charged) and had a nasty habit in indescrimininintly ;) killing guards and merchants along with the bandits--hey man, balvarines, merchants, they all look the same to me.

I went through it all nice and cuddly...decked out in Bright Plate Armor and weilding the "special" Katana. I found it pretty easy and a great deal of fun. I opened all of the demon doors with three exceptions: 1) The combat multiplier door, 2) The "do something evil" door, and 3) The Gallant Knight door. Had two wives, four houses, and many, many battle scars.
Then I decided to play and evil wizardly fellow. It turned out to be a much more difficult game...especially when say...doing the Rose Cottage quest. As a good guy one of the only magical powers I had was Healing. That came in very handy. As an evil fellow who wears Dark Will User Robes those little hobbes sort of over run you. That's about as far as I got being evil.
While it was fun to a degree I've sort of lost interest in continuing about 7 hours in and now I'm considering trading Fable in while it's still earning decent credit. Getting back somewhere between $26-$30 would mean the game cost me less than $25 and I didn't have to wait a year or two to play it! Not bad.

While it was fun to a degree I've sort of lost interest in continuing about 7 hours in ....I am about nine hours into the game and I have to force myself to finish it so I can trade it back in before it loses too much value. The game seemed fun at first, but it's simply too easy and linear to hold my attention. I heard someone say it was an adult version of Zelda, and I would agree. Over all, this game (like many other Xbox titles) was 99% hype. Oh well, maybe LOTR: The Third Age will be better.

"divorce"?
What did I hear you say about marrying the shop owner and cutting off her head? That, my friend is not a divorce.
