I would be glad to write a review now on one of my fav games, but I am at work hence I cannot :-( But what do you guys think? I love reading old school sections in various mags and would love to read them here. Maybe we would have to determine how old school should we go back? Maybe as far back as original Playstation? Or it could be a Game You Have missed section? I am just spouting ideas let me know what you guys think.

I'm not sure we need a section, I think this thread is just fine. :D

There was a game, a relatively unknown game, called N2O. In Nitrous Oxide, you're in a ship flying through nitrous tubes. Like at the dentist. The laughing gas they use is Nitrous Oxide. The whole tunnel twists and undulates. While you're trying to fly a ship through this, you have to shoot these bugs. Lots of bugs. You get different weapon spray patterns, and rockets and stuff. And the whole time you're tryingto do this, The Crystal Method is pumping sweet underground techno/dance/trance. This game absolutely rocks! And concurrent with most really good games , it's "wicked haad" I don't know if they ever made it for XB, but I have it for PS1, which of coarse works on PS2. If any of you can find it, it's worth the $10 or $15 they'd charge you for it.

Sounds like Descent. I always liked that game, even though it sometimes made me nauseous! :?

I used to have an old PC game called Tank Platoon (I think), where you commanded a group of tanks. You could jump from tank to tank and command them individually while you were commanding the whole platoon - seems very advanced for a game that came on a 5-1/2" floppy!

I wish we saw more games like this for Xbox! Geeze, and this was years ago. Another case of gameplay making the graphics and such almost a non-issue. Graphics were simple, but the game was immersive.
