I just bought a copy of fable 2 at the ann arbor meijer on ann arbor saline road. They had 4 copies of the limited edition and I just bought one of them. I'm on my phone right now, but you'll be seeing me play it later tonight/this morning.

I'm excited! This is the first time I've actually gotten lucky enough to beat the street date on a title.

Peace out!

Well? How is it?!

Keep in mind I've only played maybe 3 hours, but so far I've been.....underwhelmed.

The combat system seems to be vey dumped down (one button magic, one button sword and one button magic attack). I'm hoping that as I get into bigger battles later on, it starts making more sense to me. But right now, I'm missing the control I usually have in my attacks in most rpgs.

There are some obvious techinical glitches as well. However, I'm hoping that the overall scope of the game will make up for it.

The dog is pretty cool and helps you find treasure a lot, but sometimes he get stuck in spots and dissappears for awhile. Oh and within the first hour in the game, I had a women ready to marry me. Lol.

The stroy in the begining is more rushed than it even was in fable 1, but maybe it gets better later on, we'll see.

I've only really scratched the surface with this game so keep that in mind. Wish I had more to add, but if anyone has questions feel free to ask.

Well, being that this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/LittleBigPlanet-Little-Big-Planet-NEW-IN-HAND-ps3_W0QQitemZ200265013482QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item2 00265013482&_trkparms=72%3A1421|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A13 18&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14) is going for over $100 at this moment, I'd say get as many as you can :-)

Thanks for the info.

Is it open like Oblivion?

Thus far, more open than fable 1 but nothing near the openness of oblvion, not even close. You can stray further from the path, but your are still constrained to certain areas. Not an explore every square inch you see type game though.

Hmmmm....sounds like a rental thus far.

Like I said before though, I haven't even really scratched the surface of the game. If you liked Fable 1 enough to buy it, then Fable 2 will probably not disappoint you. My biggest gripe so far is the combat.

Fable is RPG for dummies. That is probably why I like it. Oblivion was way to complicated for me.

Definitely plays that way.

The combat this time around is a bit more simplified, but not necessarily easier.

I've played ALOT more today and it is getting more challenging. I find myself going between a balance of Ranged, Melee and Magic. Im mostly good and my character is starting to show signs of magic use (glowing blue lines showing up in skin).

The world feels bigger so far, I just spent around 3 hours wandering around, getting lost, and fighting enemies and it was fun. I like to consider this game between an RPG and The Sims....cause thats exactly how it plays. Its not a revolutionary step above Fable 1, but more like an evolutionary step.

Oh, and it is quite disturbing when you find condoms, yes they are in the game, buried in the ground.

Well you have the choice to have protected or unprotected sex.

Im just not ready for the level of commitment that having a kid might take in my videogame world. I want to keep my character good and ignoring my children and wife would probably have negative effects on his morality.

However, part of me is mildly intrigued by the idea of having a character that specifically knocks up as many women as possible in the game. Does that make me sound creepy?
