i saw this and thought it sounded cool--mainly because multiplayer via online with Fuzion Frenzy was exactly what the original game was missing. also, it would be nice to play through some Psychonauts. haven't actually played that game but still...

other original xbox games available for DL after the Dec 4 update:

Crimson Skies
Crash Bandicoot
Fable
Burnout 3
Halo

Unfortunately I think Burnout is the only one that's 16:9.

I would rather get the game disk. I still have my OG box and my live account works on it so there is no reason for me to play xbox games on the 360.

And you can probably get the disk for Crimson cheaper than the cost of the download.

I need a bigger hard-drive if I'm gonna start loading whole games into it.

By the way, I still have Crimson if anybody else would like to play!

Is it just me or when you play OG games on the 360 they aren't as smooth as they would be on the original xbox? I loaded up Terminator 3 and it was real choppy. Not sure if its just a bad game or the port over sucks . Probably both lol. I'm gonna try Crimson Skys later.

Some games run fine, but for many others the Frame rates seem to be off. The emulation technology sucks.

are these the DL-able ones or the actual disks?

are these the DL-able ones or the actual disks?Actual discs don't seem to emulate too well for the couple of games that I've tried (Forza 1 sticks out in my head right now, there were a couple others...)

I hooked up my OG 'box again a few weeks ago. It was fun to play RalliSport Challenge 2 again, but man is that OG Xbox menu ever ugly going back to!

for the few games i've played in back compat mode on my 360, they have seemed to work out okay. there were a few issues with Phantom Dust at first but those have been worked out and i've not had a problem with Ninja Gaiden yet.

They're just ISOs of the original games in a DRM wrapper. Fine if you understand that's what you're getting but a bit... unambitious in my opinion. At the very least I'd like them to update the backward compatibility emulator to keep me signed into Live all the time.
